This event will complement the Fall 2010 NYC Green Buildings Open House, and will include activities such as how to install and plant a green-roof, how to complete an energy audit, and how to prune street trees.   • Coalition Launches East Side Biodiesel Campaign
    A coalition including Council Member Jessica Lappin, Tri-State Biodiesel, Upper Green Side, community organizations, and local businesses will band together to announce the beginning of a campaign to get the word out to UES landlords and co-op boards that switching to alternative energies such as biodiesel fuel can significantly improve local air quality.
    This event will take place at one of the initial monitoring sites for the Community Air Survey on the corner of 67th and First Avenue, at 2PM. (3-31-10)
